Here's a great column that talks about the pay of public employees at all levels.

Column link here. While I don't think we're going to ever get to the kind of situation Greece is in, I think there is a lot of friction between public employees, who feel underpayed, and the public, who feel they're overpayed. How that plays out will be interesting to see.
