I recently completed a Western novel I've been working on for nearly two years.
It's called Little Man, and the Dixon County War, and it's been published as an ebook on Amazon. You can find details out about it here. There’s also a very long sample of the book from it’s start to just beyond an exciting scene.
You don't have to own a Kindle to read either my book or any of the other of thousands of books on Amazon. There’s a free reading application that will let you read any Kindle book on your computer. That link is here. (I warn you though, that’s a very addictive program to have… The price, selection, and convenience of an online bookstore will win you over quickly.)
Finally, please do not buy my book out of loyalty or friendship. It’s $5, first of all, and if you’re buying it for that reason, you probably won’t even read it anyway. I know because I’ve been in your shoes and bought books from my friends that were fantasy or young adult or some other genre that I could give two craps about.
If you don’t like Westerns. If you don’t like tons of action and excitement and blood spilled in the streets, then DO NOT buy the book.
Bottom line, the book is selling well — my first sale came from the UK, though the vast majority are from the U.S. — and this is all the most rewarding feeling ever. I don’t need a few local, sympathy sales to keep me from blowing my brains out as I mentioned on my author blog.
Thanks, all, for the love.
